INHERITANCE OR WORTH

I met that man, enjoying the inheritance,
Indulged in pride, and immersed in joy.
He was quite reckless and quiet responsible.
He left the work undone, as if it was a speck.

Then I met this gentleman, enjoying his worth,
Involved in exercise and surrounded with respect.
He was a lot prudent and a lot less rash.
He was untiring as if the work imbibed divinity.

What may I enjoy? My inheritance or worth?
Who should I be? The heir or the wise?
Forgetting failure or longing to succeed?
Accepting assets or trusting my will.
