ONCE UPON A LOVE

We were in heavens, when it sprouted, our love,
We were lost into ourselves, to the skies and above,
Your care was so immense, with the touches all so warm,
Your love knew no bounds, it took me to a fairy realm.

Your hugs assured me of my reliance upon you,
Your words brought me delight, so did my trust on you.
But then it happened, suspicions arose, grew hard and cold,
Breaking my trust and hopes upon you, the dissimilar you.

Even to this day, although we're united,
It isn't the same, as it was before it ended.
Your hugs embarrass me, your words are just words,
I talk you, but I never feel it, even sense it in you.
